Installation of Computers in Support of Education in the Deenabandhu Home for Girls, Machilipatnam, India

August 2012

In order to prepare children in rural areas for the scientific and technological development of the country, the Project management has installed computers to enhance the skills of the children.
The Evelin Christiane Gräfin von Bethusy-Huc Foundation has provided these computers as gifts for the children. The Home for Girls thus enables children from disadvantaged communities, living in and around Machilipatnam, to acquire computer related skills which will enhance their motivation and imagination, resulting in improved study skills.
On 30th July 2012 the Computer Center was inaugurated. Three computers with a multi-function printer along with the necessary furniture and a UPS (power backup) have been installed. Instructors were and will be engaged as needed.

The children and teens in the Project feel greatly blessed through this equipment in support of education.
